Is there a way to block certain sites whilst allowing other sites to be viewed? Is there a certain program or something??

yeah .. it's easy. Read your router manual if you use one

if you set which sites to block and you simply get the urge again you'll just undo the block.

thats true, but hopefully blocking programs gota password and ill type something random like aslkjdalskdj into it and hopefully that will solve the problem

If it's your computer - start - control panel - addremove programs - uninstall - internet explorer & firefox.

If it's a family computer - Set up user accounts i.e. Admin, User etc. Limit user rights of 'User' to be unable to open firefox/iexplorer.

Otherwise just get some self control.
