Hey guys i just wanted to know how BNW is related to the great depression, i know it was set during that time, is there any other realtionship? thnx

yeh Huxley wrote BNW during the 30s. The depression was a time of great financial and emotional difficulty for everyone around the world. I guess Huxley wrote the book to demonstrate a perfect world away from the misery of the depression. if you kinda look at, the context of BNW is highly contrasted to the context of the 1930's. I think the depression, inspired his envisagement of a world of hapiness, a quick fix society. And this is what he based the book on
