board of studies booklet (1 Viewer)

Ok, I have been told 5 million times, but just want to double check...

With the BOS booklet, in the AoS paper, we can choose what text we want from the booklet can't we? They don't/can't allocate one?

my teacher says he thinks there is a 10% chance we will be told what texts to write on. if you look in past papers they have never told us to write on any in particular

I've never come across a question that does that...

But some people are saying that they can specify texts.

i dont think they can and it wudnt be fair i mean think of it this way, what if the text specified was one of ur strong texts u already picked? u wud be at an advantage so i dont think they wud do it from this point of view

Yeah that's what I've been told. I'm just gonna look over the ones I'm not planning on using again.

I sincerely doubt we will. But who knows. Thing is, they mark us on how we are able to link our texts and create a sustained arguement. Specifying one of the texts causes unfair advantage... well you've got to admit that some of those texts in the book favour one journey over the other... if you know what I mean.

Then again... *sigh*

I'm still preparing only two.

Yeah exactly, some texts don't go with the different types of journeys. eg Wind in the Willows doesnt really go with inner journeys does it?
