Bonus ATAR Points (1 Viewer)

Hey guys I was just wondering if you could help me out.
My dad passed away last year, in year 11, and it really screwed me over for HSC. I don't blame him or anything but i truly believe i wouldve gotten alot better in my tests in my HSC if he were around.
Atm my ATAR est. is 92, but I need 93.5 for IT at USyd. I was wondering would I be able to get the bonus atar points of get leniancy into the course if i were to get around 92??

iirc EAS for USYD is reserved places not bonus points.
edit: yep - http://sydney.edu.au/current_students/student_administration/admissions/broadway_scheme.shtml reserved places are available if your 5 points below the cutoff
edit 2: although the B IT isn't eligible for EAS as its considered an advance course

thanks alot man. what type of courses arent considered advanced?

Any course without the word advance in it or which has a requirement of a minimum number of advance units per semester/year (like the B IT does) or a minimum GPA
