I cnt read books there just to boring, i guess maybe the books im reading at the moment r just boring.

Oh. Great book.. The 'bluriness' is in a sense the point, although I feel that Conrad writes in an eloquent manner. I'm re-reading it to prepare for uni assessments.

Also reading;
Victor Klemperer-The Klemperer Diaries 1933-1945, and still pressing on (when time permits) with 'The History of Art'.

there's no doubt that conrad writes really good... fully understanding the mentaphors etc applied is the difficulty of it all

im reading Possession for school, but I really really really want to finish it so I can read the Forsyte Saga! So frustrating.

hamlet and madame bovary is quite a good combination-- i still read them for leisure what do u think of MB so far? where u up to?

I found Flaubert agnoizingly flat at times which i think is a huge misconception since it took him days to write a paragraph i hated knowing that i was missing out on something more deeper as i read MB, so dont let the subtlties put you off -- EVERYTHING means something.
