I'm leaning strongly towards doing a historical biography of bushranger Mary Ann Bugg for my project. Have any of you done anything similar in the past?? Any tips?? My teacher seemed to think it was a great idea but then again he loves anything to do with Australian history so he might have just been excited to see something apart from Cleopatra and Greece.

What do you mean by 'doing a historical biography of bushranger Mary Ann Bugg'? History Extension isn't about writing history, its more of an investigation into historiography and debates surrounding history...

Like is their a debate as to the fact that she was really a bushranger or just a women tagging along in a male dominated 'occupation'? (yes that was a random suggestion as I know pretty much nothing about her...)

How ironic...the example for you is on another bushranger...example here
