hey guys you know in last weeks lecture how she told us the sort of thigns that would be in teh final?
when she said
5 questions and they'd come from the first page of each chapter where it says
"on completion of this chapter you should be able to...."
did she mean the questions would come FROM whatever is on that first page
OR
the questions would come from like what you should be able to do once you complete the chapter?
am i making sense?

I think she means what we would be able to do once we complete the chapter, instead of the questions, so as long as you can do the objectives it should be right..hopefully.

I was under the impression it was actually the questions at the start of the book she'd insert in. At the beginning of the semestr, she said that she'd be using some of the questions - verbatim - out of the book, or off the G&F website...

Off the top of my head..
4 Questions,
2 on Contracts, 1 which is split up into parts, and 1 on partnerships/agency.

The question that is split into parts will be 'taken from the first page of each chapter' I remember her saying, whether that's the objectives or the questions remains to be seen.

Expected to know and quote cases, statute law, but don't go into any detail.
The next lecture will be revision, with a set of questions we're meant to do before the lecture, then discuss in the lecture.

For the final exam, asians are allowed to bring in a fresh new copy of a English-Chinese/Chinese-English dictionary if you are having trouble with English. Can only be a paper book type and not an electronic, and there can't be any writing in it. I don't know why she only allows Chinese dictionares, someone behind me was saying they were Russian and also needed a dictionary lol

p284 14.16, p288 15.13, p324 16.11 16.12, p342 17.9 18.1, p359 18.5, p360 18.6, p363 18.7 18.9 18.10, p256 13.6 13.7 13.8

I just got my book and had a look, there's no 18.1 on p342...so I probably copied it down wrong. In this case it might be 17.10.

Edit: I remember her saying at the beginning of semester also that she would be using questions verbatim off the website and/or the book, but in the last lecture she was saying something about objectives so...

i think if people can bring esl dictionaries i can bring an english one

I'm a little surprised by the level of detail she went into in the demonstration answers, today. Like, the level of explanation... I dunno. Maybe that should have been expected...
