do you prefer to buy cds or burn them?

i like to buy them cause i dont just buy them for their music, but for the cover and disc art. Also, if its an artist who is still making it (australian artists and bands especially) etc I like to support them through buying the cd.

Yep! I agree. But I found myself supporting overseas artists. :confused:

I've got no burn-CD.

i can understand if you're like really poor and can't afford to buy cd's all the time, but in my honest opinion if you truly like a band and support them you should buy their cd, otherwise you're not a true fan.

musicians have to earn a living too, and it is mainly through their fans' support

yep i agree with you (in theory). but the reality is, its easier and cheaper. and i feel really really bad doing it! but i cant help it! cos i dont get paid much and i never have money to buy cds.. thats why i tend to ask for my favourite musician's cds for xmas/birthday so i dont have to download their music cos i feel bad when i do it.. but yeh, i admit, i do do it.

i mostly buy cds, though if i like individual songs, i'll probably download them.

if i like the band, i will definitely get their cds, as demonstrated by my ever-increasing cd collection

you may be stupid but at least you're not being a cheapskate and actually supporting good music (that is assuming you have good taste in music)

I use downloading as a means of sampling bands, and then buy the album if;
A.)I can find it at a reasonable price.
B.)Can afford it (And when I can't, I wait. :p)

I burn cds. I go to say K-mart or something and buy stickers to put on the cds, so they look like i bought them and they look nicer than what they do with no covers.

because my musical interests are so erratic, i usually only like 1-2 songs per artist.

however i do buy albums, on the rare occasion in which i like more than half the songs on the CD.

i think the last time that happened was the Ramones Anthology about 1-2 years ago..
