Hi guys,
I did my hsc in 2009 and my atar is 98.4 (which just gets me into BVeterinary Science at USYD) however i didnt do the STAT test...which means i cant do the veterinary course this year.

I was wondering if its possible and likely for me to transfer to veterinary science after 1 year of commerce/science at USYD?

Yes.
You will still need to sit the STAT (do it early in the year so that if you do badly you can sit it again later in the year). and you'll need to do a comittment to vet science statement showing all relevant work experience / membership of organisations / previous studies etc.
your GPA will need to be very competitive (generaly distinction average, but it varies each year depending on number and quality of applicants).

mm yeh if you can get 98.4 you should easily be able to knock of the required stat score
now all you have to do is get the required GPA Good Luck !!!
