Hey i was wondering how to turn on call id with optus on my home phone?
Like when an incoming call arrives it just says "Incoming call" instead of displaying the number. How do i fix the problem?

you have to call optus to activate caller id on your land line, there is also a monthly fee of a few dollars for caller id

Similar question.

How come Caller ID on my home phone is activated on some of my friend's mobiles but not mine? I am able to see who's calling for everyone else except my own home phone.

All optus landlines by default is made private, you have to do something for the number to show up.

Do you have caller ID activated? If no, that's why you can't see your mobile calling your house. If yes:

Can your friends see when you call them, but your house can't see when you call it? Is that the problem you are getting at?
