Hey guys and gals,

I am currently doing an interview report for school and was wondering if any Catholic could kindly answer some questions based on the Eucharist. It is so because I have three Catholics in three different age groups and people here are in the youth category so I thought i'd ask.

If your interested, leave any relevant contact details so that I can meet you on a specific date at your choice. Preferably, it'd be good if the interview is held before the 30th of June as it is due on that day.



P.S. I am in Year 10 and will greatly appreciate your efforts in helping me out with this interview if you can.

Feel free to answer it but try to give a detailed response if you can. With this information, I hope to investigate differences and similarities between the importance and meaning of the Eucharist for different aged individuals (such as youth to middle aged people)

1. As a catholic, the eucharist is recieving the real presence of christ, ie was are reciving his body and blood, thus reminding us of the sacrifice he made for us
2. I receive Eucharist whenever its offered
3. Recievign the Eucharist doesnt affect my daily life

1) for me, Eucharist is Christs body and blood that we eat/drink to remind us of Jesus' sacrifice.

2) everytime i go to mass which is about 6 times a year or more depeding on circumstances.

3) Eucharist as such does not affect my daily life, for me it is just a part of being a catholic but i guess i wouldnt be taking it if i didnt practice thus meaning i might not have as strong a faith and i guess the absence of that would affect me... its not really the eucharist but more what it symbolises i guess..

1. I find it hard to express but a way of physically receiving forgiveness from God and a means of which to communicate with him by (after receiving Eucharist when you pray).

2. Mostly once a week when I visit church. Occassionally when its Easter or Christmas I might visit a bit more often.

3. Well if I didn't receive Eucharist then I guess I wouldn't be at church and I'd have an extra hr and a bit of my life each week and would probably more regularly pray. Other than that, the Eucharist effects me in the sense that its the one time I really set aside other distractions and think about what God means to me and what I should be doing for God.

1) The Eucharist is the blood and body of Christ, and is a reminder of his love for us.

2) Everytime I go to mass (mostly weekly)

3) Doesn't affect my daily life at all. It does cement my beliefs everytime I take part in it, but I suppose I wouldn't feel any different if the tradition ceased to exist, or if I didn't take part in it.
