Ive decided to lower my calorie consumption and i was wondering what kinda foods generally have heaps of calories.

At home i'd generally eat whatever my mum has cooked, normally a variety of meats, vegetables, etc, with either rice or bread (naan) (since my mum makes it im assuming its healthy).

At uni its always either a schitzel and hot chips or a butter chicken and rice, depending on what end of uni i am.

Im sure the chips should be cut out, probably the schnitzel too, what other foods have high amounts of calories?

Butter chicken is pretty high in calories, I'd stop eating that regularly too.

Also -

Anything deep fried
Most processed foods e.g. chips, donuts etc
Pastries
Chocolate
Alcohol

etc

pretty much all the comfort food that makes life good.

Maybe instead of concentrating on reducing calories, concentrate on eating foods that have less calories, e.g. eat heaps of vegetables, fruit, lean meat and so on, and don't cook them in heaps of butter or oil either.

lol I wouldn't give any of that stuff up ever (unless I got to be fat or something)

most people don't eat that stuff heaps anyway, its alright in moderation *eyes off box of krispy kremes in the kitchen*

how come you want to reduce your calorie intake?

i'd get more muscle growth that way :) (low carb, hi protein, plus i should eat more fruits, tho my vegies intake is pretty good already)

and i'll probably keep my butter chicken to a 1nce per week limit.
