Given that a long break has just begun and that I have a decent camera, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for photo opportunites within the Greater Sydney Area (ie metropolitan area and up into the Blue Mountains). I'm after anything that would make a great background, and the following are an idea of what I'm after...

and the attached file...

Any ideas? Any form of help would be appreciated.

i take it you're more into landscapes and water views and stuff..?
um it might be a bit more than what you were thinking, but i think a good idea would be to get one of those cityrail daypasses, and go down the south coast and get off at random stops. like down to dapto, jervis bay, that sort of area has some really nice beach places.

i keep intending to do what you're doing too, but i'm so lazy :(

do you use a digital or manual camera?

It's a Casio QV-R4, digital camera.

Attached with every picture taken on a digital camera is a 'digital signature' - contained within the images file properties. You'll find details such as the dimensions, resolution, manufacturer details, camera model, focal length, light source, exposure program and the date (including time) that the photo was taken.

In the above case, I'll take "Picture079" for example:

Taken almost a month ago, midday, on the 19th of November (12:10pm). It's on a Casio QV-R4 as I've noted above, 460*345 pixels (Light source: daylight).

I can't say that I am friends with Generator (I believe his name is Josh), so you can disregard my knowing him, as being a factor. It's all contained within the photo (file) - I don't have to know the person to be able to tell when they took the photo, or how they took it. :)

Edit
Generator is also older than I am, and goes to university, I believe.

Yeah, I'm already in Uni and all.

Hmmm

The South Coast sounds like a good idea. A bit of travel, but eh, the journey could be ok if i manage to get a friend or two to go.

Thanks for the idea.
