as tittle suggests..calibration curve for AAS

if not.. why on earth it is called calibration CURVE...

i'm asking this because in my trial we had a question where we have to plot a calibration curve.. and i'm sure that the points suggests a curve but they marked me wrong. saying u got to have a straight line. BUT the points only fits a curve!

any1 knows?

o_O line of best fit, perhaps? I'm not sure.
Well a 'curve' can actually be used to describe any graph. In maths, people say "The area under the curve of y=x".
