Hey guys I just finished my trials and I'm not happy with what I got. I understand that I should have studied and tried harder, but mytimetable was generally packed within 3 days.
My current marks for trials/overall avg marks are:
- Maths 84%; current avg mark 83% (rank 27/120)
- English Adv 82%; current avg mark 81% (rank 25/118)
- Legal Studies 54%; current avg 67% (rank 23/66)
- Chemistry 83%; current avg 77% (rank 24/60)
- Economics 85%; current avg 87% (rank 6/45)
For my current english, economics, maths and chemistry I personally believe I can bring up during the HSC. I understand internal marks mean a lot, and I'm relatively nervous that my internal HSC marks for subjects like legal may impact my ATAR greatly.
So I was wondering, if i were able to effectively study and try harder to bring my marks up, is it possible to get a good ATAR if i do decently (avg 80-90) in HSC? If so/not what marks will I need and what will I need to do (like will legal effect me that much)? Thank you.
