Hi everyone, I am graduating this year and intend to go to university, these are all my subjects and results for the first and second assessment tasks, I'll be honest, I have been studying, but not effectively/regularly enough, I procrastinate alot. I go to a selective school so the competition is very high and I compare myself to my peers a hell of a lot. Anyway, here are my subjects and marks (doing 11 units, just got semester 1 reports yesterday too)

Maths Ext 1: 57% task 1, task 2 is due next thursday, will most likely get it next term but they are usually very quick. Rank: 56/69
Maths Adv: 80% task 1, just did task 2 today it was piss easy but I made so many mistakes which I realised after the test, I should get 75-80%. Rank: 68/107
English Adv: 75% task 1, task 2 submitted on thursday, hoping I get 80%+, note that I thoughI would be good at english because I did well from year 7-10 bar year 9, but it's quite tough, especially at this school. Rank: 83/111
Business: I consider this subject to be one of my strengths, was strong in it through year 11, A grades, then our teacher left (he was my fav of all in the school) got 88% on task 1, then was shocked (complete disbelief) when I got 75% task 2 a few days ago, I worked so hard to try and get 100%, still am very disappointed, probably affected my adv maths performance today as well unfortunately. Rank: 17/23
PDHPE: Another one of my strengths, A's in year 11, task 1 75%, didn't do well at all, thought I did better, task 2 96% just got it back this week, could've had 25 if I didn't leave out a few things. Rank: 7/20
Biology: 75% first task, submitted second, will get it back next term. B's in year 11, though I should've done better. Rank: 46/59.

Appreciate any advice at all, thanks!

man i cant tell you if you can get a 90+ or not at this stage bc its still up in the air but i will say it is possible for you. its unfortunate your term 1 and a few of your term 2 results werent where you wanted them to be but you need to keep grinding bc yeah its possible to bring yourself up to a 90+ atar range. also how well you did in y11 is really not relevant anymore and you need to leave your past results out of your mind when you prep for your y12 exams and just use the feedback you were given in y12. focus on doing well in the next two internals and bump up your internal rank and then do good in externals.

I think you've definitely got a good shot at 90+. Seeing as you're in a selective school, you've probably got a pretty high median ATAR (I think most top 10 selective schools have a 95+ median), so even if you're slightly below average at your school, you'll still do pretty well. You also seem to be strong in a few of your subjects and the ones you're weaker in have higher scaling, so if you lift your rank a little in them you should be fine. Good luck!

Ngl it's not looking too good those ranks will be dragging you down a lot if you don't jump up
