can I still get band 5 in maths (1 Viewer)

im average person and i need a band 5 or at least a band 4 for my uai above 80 but my marks and ranks are dreadful
general amths first exam 12/15 and my halfyearly was 11/20 i am also comin 18/40 in my year

im stratin to improve how are my chances of gettin above a band 4 with a assesment mark of bout 75 ???????

It does depend on the quality of people at your school. Think about last year's hsc group ar your school, how many band 5's did they get and 4's? If they only got for instance one band 5, it would not seem likely that you would get this, however if a decent amount of 4's/5;s were obtained you could get it. Just keep working hard .. you still have trials to go.
also 18/40 is hardly terrible, think of all the others below you.
