Glucose forms cellulose by beta 1-4 glycosidic bonding right

so with cellulose is it hydrogen bonding or covalent - cuz i keep reading hydrogen, but i argued with my chem teacher that it was hydrgen

is it hydrogen between each glucose monomer, and covalent between chains?

It's hydrogen between the chains. Covalent between the monomers...(I think).

But definitely hydrogen force and dispersion force between the polymer chains.

How can you have hydrogen bonding between the monomers anyway?
