Hey,

Well i plugged into SAM my predicted HSC alligned marks
English-80
Maths-90
Modern History-80
PDHPE-80
Business studies- 80

And in my UAI contributor i get more points for my business studies and PDHPE?

I Dont understand. Modern History is a thousand times harder than those subjects, but an 80 is considered better.

Someone explain please

Cheers

That probably just means that an aligned mark of 80 in Modern History is much easier to get (ie more people as a percentage are given an aligned mark of more than 80). A low percentage of people may be given bands 5 and 6 in business and PE. Modern still scales a fair bit better though.

EDIT: Remember that a mark of 80 does NOT mean that you have got 80% in the exam - you never know what your raw mark is.

Thanks. My assessment mark is about 75. And i keep doing trial papers and getting around 80.

I just cant believe that if i get 80 in Modern History and 80 in PDHPE pdhpe is considered better.
