Yeh because its not the marks that count, its the ranks. If you have a high rank in your subject at your school then you'll be fine.bitchgirl said:

if u are the only one doing a subject den u are ranked first
so it will all depend on ur HSC exam even if u fail every single test lol
or if u do a subject in which other ppl in ur class fail as well, den ur marks are similar

It also depends on how much they're weighted... say trials and half yearlies counted for half the course, assessments the other half. You fail the exams, but do pretty good on the assessments, then get a good mark in the HSC, then you're going to end up with an alright HSC mark and a decent UAI, right? Especially if your ranks are good, as L45er so kindly pointed out.
