ok, this might seem like a stupid question, but can u do ext 1 eng in yr 12 without doing it in yr11?

someone i think said that you can but I have my doubts. You have to complete the course in year 11 in order to move onto the yr 12 equivelant (i.e. you have to pass yr 11 bio to do yr 12 bio)

No.

The Year 11 course is a prerequistite for the Year 12 one.

If you didnt do the Prelim course in year 11, you have to do that before you can then go on to the Year 12 course.

Same applies for all subjects

Some schools will permit it (or so I've heard), however you still have to crash-course the content.

The vast majority of schools probably won't let it happen, hence the huge encouragement for doing all the ext 1 subjects in preliminary year.
