hey everyonee can yous plzz guess my HSC mark...by looking at half yearly's

Math= 57% rank= 18/ 85
English=57 % rank=15/85
IPT=76 % rank=2/24
IT=65% rank=3/12
Legal stuides = 46% rank= 14/19

And does ranking matter???

Just because you want to be generous doesn't mean you have a right to feed false hope. If you improve your rankings in legal studies and IT Tulipa's statement will be true.

well for the hsc if u want to get a 60+ uai u need like 70+ in all your subjects so from your marks it would be below 50 easy. Sorry, but its the truth, hope u do well in your other assesments.

He provided internal mark, not HSC marks that essentially have no correlation with anything you've received before.

And to the OP. Ranking does matter. For your internal assessments your rank is what matters. Aim for first internally so even if you don't come first in the exam, you gain some benefit.

yep i have done alright in my assessments so far....half yearly were worth 10 percent for each subject for some reason...basically it was our topic test....our trails will be worth 30%

If you don't study harder, pull your marks up immensely and get it together you're not going to get above fifty.

If you keep going the way you are, you're going to get an asterisk.

His assessment marks could also fall dramatically. The top mark in the exam might only be 50% making the top assessment mark 50%. And he's not even ranked first. HYPOTHETICALS!

There is insufficient information to predict your HSC marks. Now refer back to your original thread for your own good. IMPROVE!

well i know that i have done poorly in my half yearly exam and so have most of the people at the school i go to. BUt the assessment marks for all the subjects i do were outstanding.alot of people got 90+ and i also have managed to get 70+ in all except legal(about 62). My last maths assessment mark was 83% and that was worth 15% of our yearly mark. MY IPT has marrks have been outstanding untill the recent halfyearly mark. I have gotten 90+ in both my ipt assessment done before, one was worth 15% of our yearly mark and the other was 10%.
yep i know that i have done really bad in my half yearly but NOW i gotta pick my self up. i cant bealive i have done this bad .well notforgetting that they were only 10 percent of out yearly mark coz it was basically our topic test coz we didnt do any this term. hopefully ill study hard and get better mark during trail exams Coz thats when it realli matters AND its worth 30% ....Cant afford to mess them up as well....THanks for replying peoples!!!!

Convert your rank in each subject into a decimal. Average these numbers. Find out from your careers guy what percentage of kids at your school get above certain UAI points each year. Compare your figure to those stats, and you'll know roughly where you lie.

PS: use of the word "yous" should automatically exclude you from getting a UAI.
