Many say it is the most violent, gruesome and shocking movie ever created and that's why it is banned in most countrie. So I downloaded and watched it of course !

My impressions?

It's definatly the most gruesome movie I had ever seen. But I wasn't shocked because I'm [A]wesome. Nar lol, I'm not easily shocked. Ok lol, I'll admit, it did shock me a bit but it didn't make me feel sick as to vomit (even though I was eating through it). If you managed to watch some of the Iraqui behading videos and "faces of death" stuff, you might make it through this movie. But I think that most people wouldn't be able to sit through it.
Taht said, I thought it was a very good movie.
The acting of the "filming crew" wasn't amazing, but that doesn't detract too much from the film's realism. The tribes are really amazing.
I have never seen such realistic gore. It's quite hard to believe that it was created in 1980. The violence and gore is extremely graphic and looks very real, in fact it looks so real that the director was taken to court to prove that none of the killings were real.
It was a good watch and I recommend it, but definatly not for the weak of heart.

I downloaded it from my P2P program called "Warez". It's a pretty rare file so it didn't have many sources.

The only parts i could harly watch were the animal killing scenes (esp turtle one) and the ending. the director did a good job with such a low budget but if you dont like watching real animal killings dont watch it.

Pff you see worst animal killings on the discovery channel. And the turtle didn't suffer at all because they chopped its head off first. And I'm pretty suree that they really ate it so it wasn't wasted or anything.
