Can't log in UTS mail site. (1 Viewer)

So I just got an offer from UTS. Applied for enrolment date and everything. Also activated my UTS email account. But it seems that I cant log in.

Do you log in as *name*@student.uts.edu.au ?

To get into UTS webmail you use your student ID number e.g 1233445677 or whatever as your login, and then put your password in the bottom field.

I can't find my Student id number for some reason, went back to where i accepted my offer at the uac page, and went through uts site as well

yeah ive got the same problem as etheral
i was enrolling then i accidently quit midway through my enrollment, then i went back to uac site to do the same procedure, but it said that ive already accepted the offer, so i went to the uts website and it says for me to fill in the student number and password

thing is where can i find my student number and password for me to complete and activate the unimail successfully?

IIRC you should have got it when you web-enrolled on the UTS site - have you tried going back to there?

If you have more problems, try the edit tool here - it should allow you to view what you've done and what your number is.

Can you go here:
http://datasearch.uts.edu.au/study/ISE/index.cfm
and go to the very bottom and click 'step 1' and then go to the part that asks you to enter your UAC number? Since this is the UTS site and not the UAC site you shouldn't have the problems you mentioned earlier about UAC. That should (should being the operative word) allow you to retrieve your student ID, then you can do whatever you need with the edit tool.

Maybe it would be best to email the student administration and explain your problem:
https://servicedesk.uts.edu.au

The only other thing I can possibly suggest is try going through your cache/history or similar (I'm not very techy so I'm probably not explaining it very well lol) and try viewing the old page, rather than going there directly. Oh, and write your number down this time.

Just go to step 1, it should ask you for your uac app number, and it should send you through teh process where it produces your UTS id number

yeah finished the enrollment process
had to call them up to get my student number, as i completed the process heaps of times, with each time getting an error message

phew now officially an UTS student

Yep, UTS Online will become available once you've enrolled.
