This has probably been up a while on blackboard..but I don't frequent mine as much as I probably should, so I've only just found this haha. For anyone who doesn't know, we're having a careers expo on 2 April in the Great Hall

Find out about

* Type of work available
* Type of graduates they employ
* Opportunities within their organisation
* When and how they recruit graduates
* What you need to do to get that job

I dunno about the rest of you guys, but I have no idea what the fuck I'm gonna do after uni, and this sounds like a really good way to find out more about potential jobs/careers

Business, Humanities, Information Technology and Law, 10.30am-1pm
Design, Engineering and Science, 3pm-5.30pm

edit: booyah! have been informed that you get given some book that is similar to the uac guide only it's a giant list of employers and what they do and what degrees/skills you need etc. etc. i feel like i'm the only one that didn't know about all this haha god

look through the pdf..if there's a health (or similar) section, it'll list businesses..and if you look at the businesses, it'll tell you which session they'll be at..i would assume sciences though, even mine is haha

that and i received a beach ball, a stress ball, a frisbee and a stubby holder, woo!! didn't find any pens though
