There's a case study by Tim riley, I also collected about 20 newspaper articles on china throughout the year for updates and The Economist had a "survey" on China in June. I can try and rummage in the cupboard and find exact info, but its mostly out of date. My advice is to do similar, keep track of gdp figures, employment trends etc - tho china doesn't really release too much info there is a lot of conjecture by American investment banks etc...So you can use their stats. Back page of the economist also tells u little things each week.
