Casual hourly wage (2 Viewers)

I am thinking about applying for a position at DSE as a casual sales assistant. I was wondering what the hourly rate for a 17 year old sales assistant is?

I am currently employed at Big W - $9.27 per hour, 16 years of age. If the wage at DSE is much higher, i might consider a change of career.

I would imagine that the pay is exactly the same at dick smith as it is at big w because both are owned and run by woolworths.

but dick smith is probably more enjoyable/less stressful work than big w

Well to be honest I really enjoy my work at Big W. I'm a home entertainment/home office associate, so I really don't do much at all. It's very easy and very pleasing work. I don't have to meet any quotas or any kind of comission at all.

My only real reason for changing to Dick Smith/Tandy is if the hourly wage is higher. If it's the same as i'm earning now, I see no reason to change.
