Catalyst in Haber Process (1 Viewer)

This is quite a simple question but I've become all confused as to what actuall is the catalyst in the haber process. i have 4 varying possibilities. Some have more depth but do i need that much? They are the following so tell me which one you have and which one i should learn!

*magnetite, Fe3O4 with its surface layer reduced to free iron (from Conq Chem)

*porous iron in an iron oxide/alkali mix

*iron oxide catalyst

*a finely ground iron catalyst with a Large SA (from HSC online)

i have learnd magnetite Fe3O4, which is an iron-irion oxide catalyst

if they are all from reliable sources maybe any should be ok?

they're all right
the catalyst is actually a mix of evrything, and some textbooks pick out the more significant constituents eg magenetite fe3o4

fe3o4


surface reaction occurs ..and since it has a lot of surface area (similar to zeolite) then it's a good catlasy to use

yeah i learnt either Fe3O4 or Al2O3
Iron is the catalyst though according to a trial multiple choice question i did... cant remember wat trail paper soz!
