help needed to answer this dotpoint:

explain how cathode ray tubes allowed the manipulation of stream of charged particles?

Well what have you got so far?

This dot point is fairly obvious if you think what cathode rays are and their properties.

well cathode rays can be manipulated from the inside and outside....

From the inside an object can be placed in its path... ie maltese cross

U can use elctric plates to manipulated them from the inside too.

And from the outside it can be deflected by magnetic fields, from the outside
