CD-RW stuff up? (1 Viewer)

When I insert a game into my CD-RW to play it works for a minute or two. Then everything just turns/fades white and I can't see anything but a white monitor....what's happening?

what game are you playing?
do you have screensaver enabled?
what are the specs of your compo?

could be you agp card

could be anything, sounds to me like a hardware issue more than software
when the screen turns white press the numlock keep and see if it responds, if it doesn't then it is a hardware lockup
it could be your video card overheating, maybe a dead fan?
