Hey I'm B.P, a first time poster on this site. I have an assessment coming up dealing with change. The Question is as follows ' Change comes in many forms and has a range of effects on those who experience it and respond to it'...'How have the texts you have studied developed your understanding of the nature of change and it's effects?'. This is in fact section 3 of the 2001 advanced paper from my school and well to get to the point im a bit confused. My thesis is that people try to escape change and yet paradoxically need it to occur. I am using Ode on a Grecian Urn as my prescribed text, Sky High, from the change booklet as my change booklet text, pleasantville and Imagine by John Lennon as supplementary material. All of the text deal with this paradox. I am wondering if this is actually answering the question.

This is my opening at present or bits of it anyway ' The universal concept of change and its effects have a varying degree of tenor on those experiencing the inevitability of process. This leads to the perspective that change is a notion which is often feared and equally often required for life, causing the paradoxical quagmire of wanting to escape process, yet at the same time having reluctance and difficulty in accepting inexorability. Ode on a Grecian urn etc etc all explore this outlook of change...."
