Im enrolling into bachelor of communication and I am selecting my unit sets. This only really includes the majors and subs it seems, but I have come up with a conflict between choosing between Journalism and Media Arts Production. I would really like to do either. Is it possible to change because it seems that year 1 of both courses is the same.

Is there such a thing as dual majors here? Is changing Majors possible, those are my questions.

Thanks :)

It is possible however, the units for the double major may clash, as I presume the core units may be run at the same or simillar times. As most people due just the one major.

First year is pretty general for many undergrad degrees, however you need to be sure of any prerequisites for subjects in your majors. I think you should contact your head of program to see if you can do two majors and which first year subjects/electives to have.
