hey 2morrow i gotta enroll

just want 2 make sure i have all the things i need & so far i got ...

* timetable

* tax file number

* $170 for SAM

am i missing anthing???? do we need id or anything???

also, wat is the chance of me getting the timetable that i want???

yeah its $178 per semester.. you can pay the entire 2 semester now or pay per semester.

oh and as for you rtimetbale.. don't worry too much about it....
once you've enrolled you can change your timetable online via estudent.

oh and don't forget to comb your hair.. hahaha.. you will be getting your student cards done on that day and you dont wanna be looking all scruffy looking on your student card for the next 3-4 years...

nah you don't get new ones.. it would be too costly and time consuming for the uni to take photos and print new cards...

i think all uni's use the same card for 3-4 years.. its only usyd where you get a new card because their cards are made from laminated paper where as the other uni's student cards are proper plastic cards..

oic no wonder my friends were talking abt getting new cards coz they go to usyd

So let me get this stratight. as a second year student all we have to do is:

Enroll on web (done)
Get times (7th Feb)
Pay SAF ($178)
and just rock on in on the first day of uni??

Student fees...you get to join sam, get a card and a diary, card offers various discounts...but that's about it.

If you're planning on driving, take approx. $120 for a year parking permit... its a lot cheaper than meter parking, and they always make the sticker match the rego sticker colour every year!

Oh, and if coop is up (I havent checked), buy your textbooks, or wait in queue's during semester for ages (I thought it was a myth... its a reality... 1 hour in a line to get ONE book!)
