Prelim Chem Pracs

Hey ppl,

I've got my Chem prac on monday, and i'm not really sure how to study for it.

So i was just wondering -- if you've already done your chem prac yearly, couldya plz post what you had to do?

Also - how have ppl been studying for pracs?

My prac's supposed to be 1/4 water, and 3/4 energy... any thoughts on what i oughta be doing to prepare?

Hope u can help :)

MINE!!

This is my prac I got 95, grrr (surprisingly this is what brought my mark down, quite a few ppl got 100).

Things to improve:
- Risk assessment (talk about the chemicals)
- Discussion (Just write more)

lol, downloaded 1 times....

95 isn't that bad......

EDIT: btw the prac is on galvanic cells and is quite easy to perform and works every time.

EDIT2: it is also quite unique, imho
However, it won't be if everyone uses it :p

EDIT3: perhaps I should have read the post correctly.....
This is year 12 prac...

EDIT4: i guess not many y11 going into 12 read this

Hey,
Thanks a lot for posting that... it'll come in useful for next year :p

I posted this message a bit late, around 2 days before my exam, so your attachment wouldn't have been of great use to me anyway. But thanks all the same.

As a sidenote: your sig has a spelling mistake in it, ironically :D
"Knowledge is not achieved untill it is shared"
should be "until", only 1 "l".

our prac was fucking the most piece of BULLSHIT in the world

for us, we could've basically walked into the test not touch any of the fucking equipment, i mean not even perfrom the fuckking prac and end up with a mark of 9/10

the results in the end were only worth one fucking mark. And wat pisses me off more, was that we had neva done the prac in class, that paraticular prac was not even in the syllabus.

Also the guys that did it in the morning were disadvantaged cos all the fuckwits that came in towards the end of the day, basically knew everything about the test. In the end only like 2 fucking guys got full marks.

what kinda way is that to appraise our practical skills?

FUCK!!

yeah, our school was like that until this year.

This year we had to acctually do pracs in a prac test.

But getting 40 people to do pracs is a bit chaotic...
