l got 60 percent in 09 hsc what is this roughly hsc mark?

Best guess would be high 70's/low 80's (last year 72/100 = band 6, but its usually mid 70's).

It'd be a bit of a confidence shatter-er, because 2009 Chemistry was on of the easiest HSCs in recent history.

(sorry for thread hijacking) But would anyone know the HSC mark if I get a raw mark of 74/100?

depends on the difficulty. 74 on a hard year would be a 90 or 89 or such, on an easy year would probs be a 87
