Oh well, at the special request of Nebuch, I've bowed down to his order and we shall now have a chemistry thread.

So...who's got a chemistry lecturer who has the ability of making you fall asleep at say...10AM?

There are those of us who weren't able to take chemistry until second semester (and consequently, the summer session also). Surely we deserve to be included in society!

I like both my lecturers, tutors and lab demonstrators immensely. Nick Roberts is a decent lecturer, the tutor is a great tutor, and Alex Duan is a pretty cool lab demonstrator. 1337!

Nick Roberts did the God damned funniest thing today. He was doing previous mid session questions on the board (BiomedC), and one of the boards didn't come down. So he put his arm up to get one, stood on one foot then hobbled about comically for no apparant reason. He then said "I should stop doing that." It's hard to describe, but it was the funniest thing I've ever seen in a lecture, and I was the only one sitting there with my head buried in my hands who couldn't stop laughing.

Lmao!! I couldn't agree with you any more, I have him for chem1021 as well. He was boring at the start, but he starts getting really amusing as the lectures go by.

Like a few lectures ago, he was like "If u add in two different toilet cleaners into a toilet, and close the lid...you'll get a nice little explosion, I don't know why I'm telling you this, but this is why knowing a little chemistry helps you with your daily life"

Haha the whole class laughed, he tells you the weirdest stuff which aren't exactly good things...almost like motivating us to do something bad using our knowledge of chem.

So we have this new lecturer now - Roger Bishop. He's ok I guess. I didn't mind organic chemistry in high school and BIOS1201, so hopefully this'll be fun. Does it get hard (that that freaking lab report last week)?
