Definitely- that is if you're interested. A year of Latin provides a solid foundation for learning Greek (this is how the classics have been taught for centuries- Latin, then Greek) because they are incredibly similar (and incredibly different in other aspects)- even if you don't know Latin, it's not that hard to pick up on the alphabet (which Latin really doesn't help in) and the grammar structure (declensions, participles etc.) You can learn much from Greek that you can apply to Latin too (also vice-versa).
If you're interested and think you can cope with it (it's really not that bad- I entered Year 9 Greek with an open mind but no formal Latin education and I acclimatized pretty fast), go for it.
