I'm doing an assessment on the cold war and I'm supposed to look things up on " military and industrial manufacturing ", but im not sure exactly what that refers to...so far all the research ive been coming up with is related to nuclear weaponry, arms on each sides, etc. does it look like im on the right track?

The term "military/industrial manufacturers" is included under the syllabus heading "Groups to be studied in relation to the key features of the Cold War 1945-1991".

Basically, the way I see it, you need to talk about:
  • arms producers (who benefited from the conflict)
  • government (for the way they encouraged spending on arms - eg. Reagan. or stopped spending - eg. Kennedy and Gorbachev - in doing this you could also refer to "doves and hawks" another point in the syllabus)
  • the arms race in general (eg. who/what increased it, who did this benefit etc...)
So yeah, I would say you are on the right track...good luck!
