Heyy.. I'm doing imaginative journeys and I've chosen Michael Leunig's cartoon (attached) but i have to relate it to one of Coleridge's poems.. and i was thinking it relates best to This Lime-tree bower my prison.

However, I'm also doing the film Pan's Labyrinth and I think that relates best with This lime tree bower my prison also.. So i was wondering since I have to relate to 2 of Coleridge's poems and I don't want to change my related texts can anyone see how these texts could relate to another of Coleridge's poem at all ??

Your advicee is much appreciated!! thnxx

the cartoon can also relate to Frost at Midnight, since the poem is basically his mind trailing off, his thoughts taking him to his past, present and then to speculate the future of his child.

So in a way, he is letting his mind run free and allowing it to be the path that he travels.

So many people don't realise that you don't always need to discuss the similarities in order to link each text. You can link texts by contrasting & comparing one with the other.
