the first difficulty you seem to be having is spelling his name, Coleridge... the second point, umm any notes your teacher gives you are always helpful but the site a-m-e-e-e posted is very helpful for ANY of your texts, i found it particularly useful with Lear ;)

with critical analysis, u r basically looking at nearly every aspect of the text which should be covered in ur essay in a fair amount of detail of course keeping ur essay the appropriate length

In ROAM, the ancient mariner recreates the fateful journey in which he shot the albatross. and it is this journey where he takes not only the wedding guest but us as readers through techniques. Techniques include using medieval ballad form of rhyming stanzas. He draws upon rich Christian imagery which is then replaced by gothic imagery symbolising natures vengeance in killing the albatross. you could also mention somethin about the dice and its significance in terms of 'life - in - death'. and u could also mention about the beautiful colours of the water snakes and how it creates some positive connotations for the reader. stuff like that.
