why do you divide by 2 if the teams are indistinguishable?
ik that means that both teams are equal, but can someone explain the math behind dividing by 2?

Because if you just did 6C3*3C3, you’re getting possibilities where say person 1,2,3 are in team 1 and person 4,5,6 are in team 2 and then another identical possibility for picking 4,5,6 for the first team and then 1,2,3 for the second team, which is the exact same possibility

but u dont do that for case 2 bc ur already setting the 2 diff players into each team so it would always be different?
