Combined degree BA/BA Art theory? (1 Viewer)

I don't know much about combined degrees so I figured I'd post here.

How would a course structure work if I were to combined a Bachelor or Arts with the BA Art Theory? Would I be running back and forth from COFA and the main UNSW campus? Would the amount of time I spend at uni be a lot longer? Much heavier workload? etc.

I'm interested in art writing and crticism, and the journalistic aspects of art writing, but a straight journalism degree is very news based so I'm not sure about that. Would doing BA ARt Theory be sufficient in helping me build a portfolio/get me into the journalism industry? Or would I have to combine it with a Bachelor of Arts?

I see you posted this question years ago, and ended up doing communications at UTS anyway. I'm interested in the same area (arts writing/art history/media industry) and am currently tossing up whether to do BA/BA Art Theory and UNSW or Communications (Writing and Cultural Studies) + International Studies at UTS. As someone who picked the latter (or anyone eles reading this)... advice pretty please?
