Just a question,

are the following 2 degrees pretty much similar?

B.Com/B.IT @ USYD

Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Commerce - Faculty of Economics and Business - The University of Sydney

B.Bus/B.Sc (IT) @ UTS

UTS: Bachelor of Business Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (C10219v3) , Business

I honestly cant tell.

or which would be more beneficial in terms of what you learn and employment perspective.

I'd say UTS imo mainly because their more focused in the areas of both IT and Business and a 'Business' degree is the same as a 'Commerce' degree from other universities. Usyd is just based on prestige.

So yeh best route is probably to take UTS =]
