I need some guidance. Would it be better to do Commerce/Law at Macquarie for 5 years or do Commerce and then Graduate Law at UNSW for a total of 6 years?

Do you want to do law? or just because you have the marks?

My suggestion is to do a straight Commerce degree first, and take some commercial law/business law subjects (as required by CA/CPA if you major in accounting anyway) and see if law is for you. Then do grad law if you have a serious interest in it.

Law/Commerce @ MACQ

It doesn't really matter where you go really, as long as you get the marks.

Also remember, if you went for the option of commerce then law, graduate law would be full-fee. Hecs is always better than full fee I say.

Well, as Minai said, it really depends on your interests. Just don't do Law, cause its "Law", that's probably the worst reason to do it. Do Law, cause you want to do it.

Merry Christmas, and hopefully you make the choice that suits you
