Its an extra year but only with one commerce major. However I am very intereted in media

Depends, what job or career path do you actually want to pursue? Everyone has a Commerce degree nowadays and if doing Media is what you need to differentiate yourself from the rest, then go for it.

if you're interested in media the extra year won't hurt at all, and it gives you an opportunity to do an extra internship or more work experience.
