Is it recommended to get the correct edition for the ACCT1501 textbook?

Should I buy the prescribed 6th Edition or would the 5th edition be alright?


Also in terms of Mark1012 is the textbook necessary?

The course outline has this to say:

"This is the most recent edition and any previous editions must not be used as a substitute."

In terms of marketing the textbook is necessary imo since the lecture doesn't give you enough info for your understanding on the course... Otherwise you could try PASS classes. I think the accounting and statistics ones I've been to were indeed particularly helpful to me. Im in charge of one of the marketing PASS class now, you might wanna try it out

There has been additional changes to the new edition so it is suggested you purchase it. Unfortunately for you guys the new version came out few weeks before the course outline was released which is not surprising since the authors of the textbook are from UNSW so it is impossible to find a second hand version unless someone bought it and dropped out before the semester began. You can always risk it and purchase the 5th edition since the additional changes will be covered during the lectures or find the pdf (Which you will not find here).
