Yeah i know it cant but why cant it be the full circle? The modulus is a length so its gonna be positive regardless right?

cos also like when we draw for example |z|<3 its a full circle but obviously the modulus is >0

I don’t think that makes logical sense. Bc like ur mod is not affect by it being in the 3rd or 4th quadrants. And realistically speaking, |z|<3 sort of already assumes that it is greater than 0… r u sure the solns are correct?

If thats the case, only the top can be part of the soln since the bottom two quadrants yield -ive args which does not satisfy ur restriction

im pre sure they did, its just cut off from the diagram. + its not required since only the top half can be considered to satisfy the args.
