Just looking at sample composing questions. My elective is CF

"Compose a scene from a new text in the genre you have studied."

Does this mean just like a narrative restricted to one setting.. or wat?

Also another sample question causing me much strife:

"You are the monitor of a website focusing on your Elective.

As part of this you have been asked to comment on the opening sections of two texts relating to your chosen Elective and analyse what characterizes one text as conventional and cliched and the other as innovative and engaging.

Compose the opening sections of these two texts yourself and then wrote your analytical comments on these invented texts. Give your website a suitable title"

I bet they'll just give a "Compose your own crime-fiction story" question in the exam :p
