I'm looking to do computer science at usyd or unsw. However, I'm really confused about which one i should go to. It's a relatively similar travel time for me.
When looking at the rankings, unsw for computer science SEEMS to be a bit higher but that could be due to more people going there. Does more people demonstrate that its a better uni? I don't know.
I'm also curious about the higher probability of job opportunities with usyd/unsw and which one is looked better upon by employers. Obviously you still got to perform well in both, but say i did the exact same academically in usyd/unsw, will there be a difference in my employment chances? I'm currently swaying a bit more to USYD as of now and thats mainly due to their semester structure, whereas UNSW follows a trimester structure. TBH I don't really understand why trimesters are as bad as people perceive it to be, however I have never expereinced it. Could someone explain trimester/semester and their overall conclusion about which uni i should go.
Thanks for all the help :
