It's that time of the year again. Actually, I wouldn't know, its my first year.
ComSoc is having a Pubcrawl next week on Thursday and it will be mighty swell.
This event is also open to any faculties. You don't have to be doing commerce/econ subjects.
So, what will it involve?
-Subsidised and free drinks (although you do have to pay for a ticket, so its not really free. However the ticket cost is less than you would pay for the free drinks).
-A megaphone. And be assured that a megaphone is sexcellent when drunk.
-Lots and lots of drinking. It's your chance to unwind before launching into exam studying.
-Promiscous sex. Probably. Although we can't promisse it, we're not Subski.
-Around 4 pubs covered.
-Free drinks: 2x drinks at Harbourview Hotel and 1x drink at The
Observer.
How Much?
$10 for members/$15 for non-members (must be usyd union)
I would however encourage non-members to join. It's $10 to join for the first time, or $5 if youre a returning member. Membership will pretty much make up for it very quickly with the social and career-based events. A good investment for anyone from any faculty. It'll only be $5 more than what you'll pay
When are tickets on sale?
Monday to Thursday
12-2pm (Although I'm not 100% sure if I am correct. It may start one hour earlier) outside the Merewether.
If someone wants to come down and say hi to me, I'm rostered on Wednesday 12-1.
